- Provide an overview on the EU´s Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence with a focus on the environmental sustainability and climate change components and,
- Discuss the challenges and opportunities for banana exporting countries.
Main objective:
- To present the WBF´s tool to measure and reduce carbon and water footprints of banana producing organizations and,
- Discuss digital innovations able to provide transparency and traceability of the environmental impact of banana global supply chains in compliance with the new EU Directive.
