The El Grupo Interamericano de Coordinación en Sanidad Vegetal – GICSV (Inter-American Coordination Group on Plant Health) is a collaborative arrangement of the Regional Plant Protection Organizations (RPPO) of the countries of the American Hemisphere and the Caribbean, created with the purpose of promoting joint actions aimed at preventing the introduction and spread of pests in plants, vegetable products and other regulated articles, as well as promoting the adoption of appropriate measures for their control.
