FAO Virtual Training Regional Workshop Project on Foc TR4 – Prevention, surveillance and management of Fusarium TR4
You’re invited to attend the virtual workshops which has been organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean within its Technical Cooperation Program.
The workshops have been designed to help countries combat the spread of Fusarium Tropical race 4 (TR4) and is being held in collaboration with OIRSA and supported by IICA, CAN, CAHFSA and COSABE.
The virtual workshops aim to strengthen activities in response to a potential case of TR4 in Latin America and the Caribbean. At the same time, they will facilitate the ability to analyse and share relevant information with respect to TR4 and COVID-19.
The workshops in English will be on the following dates:
First session (English): Tuesday 14 July 2020 – Diagnosis, biosecurity and phytosanitary measures
Second session (English): Tuesday 21 July 2020 – Foc TR4 management alternatives under different scenarios
Third session (English): Tuesday 28 July 2020 – National response capacity to phytosanitary emergencies. Colombia’s experience in confronting Foc TR4
Fourth session (English): Tuesday 04 August 2020 – Communication strategies and capacity building for Foc TR4
The schedule will be the same for all sessions at:
